Moray - Malt Whisky Country
Moray is home to two giants of Highland culture - malt whisky and salmon fishing. Blessed with stunning coastal and upland scenery the region is diverse; from the fertile coastline around the Moray Firth leading towards Tomintoul, high in the Cairngorms National Park.
Within its lush borders, the legendary Spey and Findhorn rivers attract salmon anglers, whisky lovers tour The Malt Whisky Trail, nature enthusiasts walk the beaches, forests and hills in search of wildlife, and students of history pick up tantalising trails of Macbeth or Dr Johnson while those with the great outdoors in mind will tackle heather-carpeted hill walks and adrenaline fuelled mountain biking.
