This summer Moray is packed full of vibrant events, so make sure your perfect day is filled with excitement by exploring some of the culture on offer.

Kicking off with Findhorn Week (6th - 10th July) the sailing regatta is open to all with entry possible on the day. If you're not to competitive type then find one of the great vantage points along the dunes and watch the flashes of colour as dinghies and catamarans race against one another.

Highland Games are a big feature across July, so don't miss the opportunity to marvel at the displays of strength as contestants compete in the heavy events. Forres 11th July, Tomintoul 18th July, Dufftown 25th July and Aberlour 1st Aug.

Whether you're into toe tapping or burling, Speyfest (July 28th - Aug 2nd) has some of the biggest names in traditional and contemporary Celtic music. Friday night features The Fochabers Fiddlers celebrating Scotland's year of Homecoming and with some guest performers and well known dances it has the ingredients for a jumping night. The six days and nights of gigs and concerts culminate in the Survivors Ceilidh with ten hours of music over two stages.
