Formed more than 25 years ago, Sea Life Surveys was the first - and is now the most experienced - whale watching, porpoise, shark and dolphin watching, marine survey, and education programme in the UK.
Having established the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust in 1992, Sea Life Surveys is still actively conducting a research programme focused on minke whale and contributes directly to marine conservation.
Exploring the rich waters and rugged coastline of the Hebrides, this is a real once-in-a-lifetime experience and a chance to see rare wildlife in their natural environment. By joining a Sea Life Surveys cruise you will be contributing to invaluable marine research.
There are boat tours and chartered companies throughout Scotland that offer the chance to get closer to the amazing array of wildlife gracing our shores and skies.
Regularly spotted are minke whales, common dolphins, bottle-nose dolphins, Risso's dolphins, harbour porpoise, common and grey seals. If you're really lucky you might catch sight of basking sharks and even orca! And then there are the birds - puffins, razorbills, gannets and the rarer manx and sooty shearwater, petrel, red throated divers... The list of species is endless!
